"I am SO pleased that I chose C&M to paint the outside of my house. The professionalism was excellent throughout. Both Angel and the crew were very easy to work with. What really made the quality stand out was the thoroughness of the prep. My house has both lap siding and painted shingles. They scraped all the surfaces very thoroughly. On the lapboard, wherever they scraped off loose paint they sanded the edges smooth. At my request, they pulled off some unused cables and wires tacked to the siding. Several window trim pieces that had a bit of rot were replaced, holes and seams caulked very thoroughly, and bondo used to seal the bigger problem areas. Then every bare surface got oil-based primer. The photo shows the extent of the scraped and primed bare wood – and my house was not remarkably overdue for painting. As another indication of how much prep was done, the painting itself took less than a third of the people-days dedicated. Some of the initial communication was a bit delayed and minimalist – don’t let that put you off!"
